Nigerian Universities Engineering Student Association (NUESA) FUTO chapter held it general conference meeting. Today being Wednesday March 16 2016 .
The meeting started with an opening prayer. Which lunched us into the NUESA Executive introduction having all excos present ranging from the president: V.president: D.O.S: P.R.O: treasurer: and excos of different nuesa departments ABE, MME, CHM, EEE,MEE,PTE. PET were all present also our very own Cmr.ONOCHIE DAVID imidiaTE past president of SUG was present..
Then the welcome address by Dean of SEET PROF. NWADIKOM. after which the SUG president was allowed to address the student. Then we proceeded to the inspiring speech by SEET I.T coordinator who urged the student to make sure the do well in lectures as what they learn may go a long way to help them in outside school life. And also spoke on how to get I.T places. Then the SUG president emeritus gave a talk on leadership encouraging the students with personal experience and testimony to come out and involve in leadership as it will enhance not only their education but their life and especially as the NUESA election is on it's realm that they should come out and contest. Due to time lapse we moved to YEAR ONE INDUCTION which was done by staffs with Dean of SEET presiding. After which they left with standing ovation of the happy inducted year ones. Then a speech on NEED FOR ENGINEERING SKILLS was made by Comr. Mboutidem. Emphasizing on what engineering is all about and why students need to gain the skill to earn aids to the society.
Then the refreshments and closing speech by NUESA president..
